Test a Tuffet at Lostwithiel Local Produce Market!

The Travelling Tuffeteer watched on as visitors to the Lostwithiel Local Produce Market  came and rested awhile upon the hard plastic chair, that was turned into a sit upon of  great comfort, as the tuffet was provided in order to have the opportunity to 'bottom' test a range of the deliciously sheepy, eco-friendly rustic 'cushion'. What better place  to buy a christmas gift that is hand-made in Cornwall - the woven wool tuffet that is original, practical, rustic and local?

The Cornish Guild of Smallholders had produced delicious  home-grown vegetables and hot vegetable soup, wonderfully verdant plants, cheeses, chutneys, jams, marmalades, pickles and so much more!!!! Bread, cakes, savouries, free range meat, poultry, eggs, home made sausages, ham, and bacon  were all available for sale at very reasonable prices sold in the wonderful rural atmosphere of the farming community. The CGOS members made me feel very welcome, good cheer and conversation were abundant! The community centre also has it's own cafe where light snacks and hot beverages maybe purchased very reasonably and enjoyed at your leisure.
So on Friday 25th  you too can enjoy this unique market - be there or miss one of the best places in Cornwall to enjoy local produce and have  the chance to find and experience 'bottom heaven', not only for yourself but also for that perfect christmas gift - A Cornish hand-made tuffet............ luxury, sustainability and also suitable for vegetarian use!!
